Houston, TX – A person was killed Monday evening in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 9:01 p.m. on March 30 in the northbound lanes of the North Freeway near Greens Road.

Authorities said the person was attempting to cross the freeway when they were struck by a vehicle.

The person was killed in the accident. Their identity has not been released.

It was unclear if the driver remained at the scene after the accident.

The police are investigating the accident.
