The deadly accident happened at about 5:20 a.m. on March 5 in the 9700 block of Hollister Street.

Houston, TX – A 40-year-old man was fatally hit by a vehicle early Thursday morning in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened at about 5:20 a.m. on March 5 in the 9700 block of Hollister Street.

Police said the man was walking in the middle of the street when he was struck by a northbound red Infiniti Q50.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Infiniti driver, a 26-year-old man, stayed at the scene, showed no signs of impairment, and was questioned and released.

The police are investigating the accident.
